You will primarily work with our care unit, but you will also have the opportunity to participate in reception work and our day surgery operations.
Working hours are Monday through Friday during daytime, and your duties will include medical record writing from dictation, diagnosis registration, referral management, registration in quality registers, and other healthcare administrative tasks.
About You
We are looking for someone who is trained as a medical secretary, preferably with a few years of experience. You have IT skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Experience with the medical record system Cosmic and work in quality registers is considered advantageous.

Your Future Workplace
Surgery in Oskarshamn consists of a care unit and a reception. Here, medical secretaries, nursing assistants, nurses, and physicians work together with the patient as the focus. We provide planned care from Monday to Friday with a focus on urology and general surgery. We are part of the Surgical Clinic Kalmar-Oskarshamn and a total of over 200 people work at the clinic, of which approximately 25-30 colleagues are in Oskarshamn.
Oskarshamn Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County and has over 400 employees. The hospital is a small hospital with quick decision-making processes and close contact between units. It offers, among other things, medical specialist care, radiology, planned surgery, and orthopedics. The hospital is located close to Oskarshamn city center and near the archipelago.
