About Us
Region Sörmland's eye clinic is a regional clinic with outpatient operations at Sörmland hospitals: Kullbergska sjukhuset in Katrineholm (KSK), Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna (MSE), and Nyköpings lasarett (NLN) in Nyköping. We have approximately 60,000 patient visits per year. We perform cataract surgeries, outpatient procedures, glaucoma surgery, and strabismus corrections. We have a clinic for treatment of macular diseases as well as various outpatient services for other diagnoses. We also have emergency on-call services, and our physicians are on-call from home.
Many different professional categories work at the clinic, such as physicians, nurses, optometrists, orthoptists, and nursing assistants, whom you will collaborate with.
Your Responsibilities
Your tasks at the clinic are varied and include medical record documentation in Cosmic, booking/canceling patient appointments, managing incoming referrals, scanning, mail, patient phone contact via TeleQ, and reception work. We are currently developing our existing routines and working methods to adapt to our new medical records system. As part of this work, we are reviewing various processes and patient flows. Close collaboration with other professionals is part of the daily work. Projects and other administrative tasks may also occur.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is responsible, organized, and able to prioritize. You work independently but also thrive in collaboration with others. You are attentive, helpful, and have a genuine interest in contributing. We believe our new colleague is someone interested in change and development, and perhaps you have contributed to and participated in change or development projects at your previous workplace.
To thrive in this role, we believe flexibility, fresh thinking, and the ability to see multiple perspectives are success factors. We are looking for someone with training as a medical secretary or healthcare administrator.
