The Role of Clinical Podiatrist
You will work with preventive and therapeutic foot care for diabetic patients, and observe, assess, prioritize, document, and communicate changes in the patient's foot status. In this role, you will participate in teamwork around the patient, and through dialogue with the patient and their family, you will provide support and guidance to enable optimal participation in care and treatment.
Your Future Workplace
Medical Care Unit C at Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping houses the endocrinology and diabetes section as well as the pulmonary and allergy section. The unit includes, among other things, an endocrinology and diabetes clinic and a podiatry clinic.

Your Profile
We are looking for you who are trained as a podiatrist and preferably with previous experience in diabetic foot care and/or wound care. You need to be able to work independently and have good interpersonal skills with both patients and staff. It is important that you can communicate your knowledge about self-care to the patient.
