SIA "Daugavpils reģionālā slimnīca" registration No. 41503029600, Vasarnīcu iela 20, Daugavpils, LV-5417, announces a competition for a vacant Medical Physicist position for an indefinite period (professional classification code 2111 27) Requirements for candidates: Higher education (specialization in medical physics); Knowledge of medical equipment used in work; High sense of responsibility and precision; Knowledge of the state language and preferably at least one foreign language. Main job duties: Maintain the company's medical equipment register, following functional and electrical safety schedules; Perform individual plan dosimetry and quality checks; Perform regular mechanical and dosimetric parameter measurements; Perform dosimetric monitoring of the work environment in the therapeutic radiology area and individual dosimetric monitoring of personnel; In cooperation with the Radiation Safety Centre, ensure regular inspections of all radiological equipment and perform other safety-related tasks; Monitor radiation safety in the company in accordance with the regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
