Job Description
The tasks include individually designed support in daily activities such as personal care, medication management through medication delegation, cooking, cleaning and other household chores, as well as structure in everyday life. You will also support residents in developing and maintaining independence and other important abilities. Planning and implementation of leisure activities, promotion of social participation and relationship building are also important parts of the work. The tasks also include documentation and planning based on implementation plans. Working with clarifying pedagogy, alternative and augmentative communication and low-arousal approach is central.
Work at our new group home is primarily conducted based on the legislation Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with relevant education in the field, such as support pedagogue, nursing assistant or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience working with the target group is a requirement. Knowledge of AAC, including sign language as support and clarifying pedagogy, is meriting. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work independently but is also a good collaborator with colleagues.
It is important that you have a positive attitude towards your work and enjoy working with people. The work requires great commitment, initiative and responsibility. We also value flexibility, collaboration skills, relationship-building ability and clarity. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Driver's license (B category) is required.
