We are now looking for a machine operator for 7-Steel's net department, where you will be an important part of manufacturing reinforcement nets for the construction and civil engineering industry.
About the Position
As a machine operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and setting up net welding machines for the production of custom reinforcement nets. You will ensure that products meet drawings, quality requirements, and applicable tolerances while contributing to safe and efficient production.
Your tasks will include:
- Operating, monitoring, and setting up production equipment
- Handling materials with truck and hoist
- Performing machine changeovers based on drawings and order documentation
- Conducting quality inspections of dimensions, welds, and finished products
- Performing basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments
- Reporting and following up on deviations
- Contributing to order, organization, and safe work practices in production
The position is based on a two-shift schedule, with the possibility of night shifts as needed.
About You
You have experience from industrial, workshop, or production environments and possess a good technical understanding with a genuine interest in machines and technology. You are accustomed to reading and interpreting drawings, dimensions, and production documentation, and you have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. You also hold a forklift and hoist certification and work in a careful, responsible, and quality-conscious manner. You are comfortable taking independent responsibility, have a strong safety mindset, and enjoy contributing to efficient and well-functioning production.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in reinforcement production or process industry
- Experience operating and setting up production machinery
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting
- Industrial technical training or equivalent experience

About the Employment
This position is a consulting assignment with a 6-month fixed-term contract, meaning you will be employed by Adecco and hired out to the client.
