Forsell Maskin is growing and is looking for a machine assembler.
We have been building special-purpose machines since 1977. Over the last ten years, we have focused on house factories, with machines and systems that lift, store, process, and move walls, roof elements, and entire housing modules inside the factory. Among our customers are Lindbäcks and BoKlok in Sweden, VBC in California, and Eastcut in Canada. Everything is designed and built in our own workshop at Hedensbyn in Skellefteå, by a small team.
We are not looking for the person with the longest CV. We are looking for someone who cannot help but figure out how things work, and who wants to be part of a small company's growth.
The Job
You are involved from start to finish, from when parts arrive to when the machine is up and running at the customer's site. You assemble machines and systems according to drawings, using both purchased components and parts we manufacture ourselves. Sometimes you work at the milling machine or lathe, sometimes you weld, but most of it is about bringing everything together. You troubleshoot and test-run before delivery. Then you follow the machine to the customer and install it on-site, together with colleagues.
Who Are You
What matters most is that you genuinely love technology and have the drive to learn. Maybe you have worked on vehicles, built things in your garage, or worked a few years in a workshop. Maybe you are coming straight from upper secondary school. It matters less. If you have the basics in assembly, and perhaps some welding or machining experience, we will teach you the rest.
You need to be able to read technical drawings. With us, you will grow into working independently and solving problems on-site when something does not add up. You need basic English language skills. A B-class driving license is a requirement.
