About the Position
As a forest machine operator, you work toward goals regarding quality, monitoring, production, environment, and nature conservation. You are an important part of an entire chain where there are high demands for precision and responsibility. At Sveaskog, we see all our roles as equally important in the chain, and as a team we work to make each other better.
We are looking for someone who loves their work and has a genuine interest in machinery, service, and maintenance. You are prepared to operate both a harvester and a forwarder. You are not afraid to use some IT equipment and see simple administration as part of your work. You are interested in and take great responsibility in your work that stands for the forest's different values such as production, management, and nature conservation.

You will be part of a self-managing work team consisting of 4 machine operators working shifts with final harvesting. The team operates a 931XC harvester and an 895 forwarder.
The position includes areas of responsibility that can be adapted to some extent based on your competence and strengths. You will have local contact with contractors, machinery workshops, area managers, and road entrepreneurs.
Location: Lycksele/Björksele
Planned Start: Year-end 2026/2027
About Your Qualifications
You have secondary forestry education or equivalent experience. Part of the work is digital, so data skills are part of the job. Driver's license category B is a requirement.
