Job Responsibilities
As a machine operator, you will help maintain Malmö city's outdoor spaces, perform various construction work, manhole replacement, excavation, digging of tree pits, modification work in both street and park environments, and more.
Work is scheduled for daytime hours 07.00-16.00. On-call work occurs, primarily during winter. You should be accustomed to and comfortable taking breakfast and lunch breaks at the work site.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience working as a machinery operator on wheel excavators and with well-documented experience in this field (minimum 4 years and 6000 hours). You must have an operator's license for wheel excavators and wheel loaders. Other relevant training and certifications are considered advantageous.
You must have at least a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle and good proficiency in Swedish.
You work well independently and take your own initiative to complete the job well, but also work effectively in a team. Since you will be part of a larger context with close contact with colleagues, you need to be a positive person with strong collaborative abilities.
If you currently work in a well-coordinated team with a construction worker who holds a machinery operator's license, we are open to hiring the construction worker as well.
