Machine/Process Engineer – Energy Conversion Systems, Marine Vessels

Location: Lund, on-site. Travel required, primarily to Karlskrona and Landskrona. We are seeking a machine/process engineer for a consulting assignment where you will work on the development and management of energy conversion systems for marine vessels. You will follow the systems from concept and design through commissioning and verification. The role is technology-focused and involves full responsibility for function, performance, and requirement fulfillment. You will collaborate closely with other technical disciplines and have a coordinating role within your system areas. Responsibilities – Ensure system function throughout the entire development process – Develop technical solutions and system dimensioning according to requirements – Prepare technical specifications – Conduct commissioning and verification (dock and sea trials) – Collaborate with and verify suppliers – Participate as a specialist in R&D and concept studies – Contribute to maintenance projects for operational marine vessels – Train crew in system operation We are looking for someone with – Civil or technical engineering degree in a relevant field – At least one year of relevant work experience – Advantageous: experience in process engineering and commissioning – Technical curiosity, structured approach, and strong collaboration skills The position requires that you undergo and pass screening according to applicable security regulations. For certain security classifications, Swedish citizenship may be required.
