State Limited Liability Company "Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital" (Registration No. 40003457109) invites you to work in the ONCOLOGY AND HEMATOLOGY CENTER for Nurses Main job duties: Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with general care nurse competency; assess patient health status, participate in care plan development, implementation, and evaluation; prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, provide information and support to patients and their relatives; ensure accurate and safe preparation and administration of systemic therapy; assist physicians in performing invasive procedures (biopsies, abscess drainage, etc.) and perform medical procedures (wound care, etc.); ensure compliance with infection control and occupational safety requirements; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care; provide emergency medical assistance; educate patients about cancer prevention, screening tests, medication side effects, physical activities, etc. Requirements for candidates: professional nursing education (in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia); registration in the register of healthcare professionals; ability to prioritize, ability to respond quickly and act in emergency situations; mandatory state language proficiency, desirable knowledge of one foreign language at conversational level for communication with foreign colleagues; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; precision, high sense of responsibility.
