State Limited Liability Company "Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital" (Registration No. 40003457109) invites you to work as a General Care Nurse in the Oncology Clinic Key job responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with the competencies of a general care nurse; • assess patient health status, participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans; • prepare patients for diagnostic and treatment procedures, provide information and support to patients and their families; • ensure accurate and safe preparation and administration of systemic therapy; • assist the physician in performing invasive procedures (biopsies, abscess drainage, etc.) and perform medical procedures (wound care, etc.); • ensure compliance with infection control and occupational safety requirements; • collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care; • provide emergency medical assistance; • educate patients about cancer prevention, screening tests, medication side effects, physical activity, etc. Requirements for candidates: • professional nursing education (in accordance with Republic of Latvia legislation); • registration in the register of healthcare professionals; • ability to prioritize, capacity to respond quickly and act in emergency situations; • mandatory state language proficiency; knowledge of one foreign language at conversational level for communication with foreign colleagues is desirable; • excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • attention to detail, high sense of responsibility.
