RSAC "Stella maris" announces a recruitment competition for a General Care Nurse position (profession code: 2221 46) in the Healthcare Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Continuously perform doctor-prescribed medical procedures, healthcare manipulations, and participate in patient treatment.
- Assess patient health status and self-care abilities, collect patient data on health status and self-care capabilities, promptly inform the family physician or senior nurse of any issues, and follow their instructions.
- Accurately and carefully document patient reactions to care measures to determine the effectiveness of provided care.
- Prepare medications, ensure precise and safe administration of prescribed medications, following all specific medication usage rules. Distribute and administer prescribed medications (enteral, parenteral), inform patients and their relatives about medication usage conditions, side effects, etc.
- Monitor medication expiration dates and arrange their replacement, report to the senior nurse about necessary medication disposal.
- Responsible for storage and proper use of medications, medical instruments, equipment, and dressing materials.
Requirements:
- Secondary or higher professional education, registration in the Medical Practitioners Register, valid certificate.
- State language proficiency level C, stage 2.
- Practical work experience in healthcare for at least 3 years.
- Knowledge of medication inventory management.
- Ability to prepare written reports, documentation, and analyze them.
- Knowledge of sanitary and hygiene requirements.
- High communication skills and ability to interact with people.
- Knowledge of disinfection, pest control, cleaning, and hygiene products.
- Knowledge of equipment and devices used at work, their operational principles and usage rules.
