Addiction Center Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and help to people struggling with alcohol, drugs, medication, or gambling. The Workplace Maria Youth is a section within Addiction Center that includes eSupport and a care chain for children, adolescents, and young adults. eSupport is a digital unit for addiction treatment serving adult patients. Maria Youth helps children, adolescents, and young adults with risky use, harmful use, or addiction to alcohol and other drugs, often in combination with other mental health issues. Job Responsibilities Work as a specialist physician/senior physician at eSupport involves assessment, investigation, and treatment in a digital care environment. Work within Maria Youth's open care takes place in a team with nurses and psychologists at the reception. Clinical work as a physician consists largely of independent work with assessments, in-depth investigations, and psychiatric treatment work together with other professionals. There is an opportunity for on-call duty at Maria Youth's acute and 24-hour care. Employment Type Permanent position. Full-time 40 hours/week, daytime. Start date by agreement. Qualifications We are seeking a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry. Experience in addiction care is a merit. LUS expert assessment applies upon employment. Additional Information Addiction Center Stockholm applies alcohol and drug testing as well as background checks upon hiring. The position is filled subject to it not needing to be used for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare: - background checks are applied prior to an employment decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks upon employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo new employee medical examination, according to applicable directives, which takes place through occupational health before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of Swedish language is required corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
