About the position
Perido is now seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a well-known player in the automotive industry. In this role, you will work closely with production on both long-term development and daily support. You will be an important part of streamlining processes, implementing new technical solutions, and ensuring competitive production.
The workplace is characterized by innovation, development, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. Here you will have the opportunity to collaborate with many different functions and contribute to both product and process development. The position is located in Skövde.
Your responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will, among other things:
• Drive and develop both new and existing production methods, work sequences, and flows
• Optimize equipment layouts and workstations to create efficient and good manufacturing flows
• Specify and adapt tools, machinery, and technical equipment based on production needs
• Conduct tests and identify, troubleshoot, and solve technical problems in the manufacturing chain
• Work actively with continuous improvements regarding quality, safety, productivity, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate closely with product development and design to ensure adaptation to efficient manufacturing
• Ensure that all production processes and work methods comply with applicable standards, requirements, and regulations
• Provide technical support to production and contribute with practical problem-solving in daily operations
Your qualities

You have good analytical skills and enjoy taking initiative, driving matters forward, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Furthermore, you are communicative, structured, and have an ability to build trusting relationships.

Qualifications:
• Relevant technical education in, for example, production technology, mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent
• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant work experience in production, production technology, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Practical understanding of production processes, production equipment, and manufacturing methods
• Ability to independently analyze and solve production problems
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating across functions
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Scope and start date
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2027-03-31. Start immediately.
