Malmö District Court is one of the country's largest district courts. Together with other courts in the country, the district court forms the foundation of the justice system and is a cornerstone of democratic society.
Our core operations are organized into four case divisions - three divisions handling criminal and civil cases, as well as a dedicated criminal case division. We also have an administrative division that supports core operations. This includes, among other things, our records and archives unit.

Malmö District Court is seeking at least one court administrator to be placed in a case division. The position is a permanent employment on a full-time basis. Malmö District Court applies a 6-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
The Work
As a court administrator with us, you work as part of the district court's administrative hub. In your work, you make decisions, monitor deadlines, have contact with parties, counsel, and authorities, and expedite rulings, etc. The work also includes keeping minutes at hearings. The work varies between performing administrative tasks on assignment and making independent decisions based on delegation. Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure that the court's cases are resolved quickly, justly, and with high quality.
The work is carried out in close cooperation with judges, legal advisors, court clerks, and your fellow administrators.
Work as a court administrator is typically performed during regular office hours, on-site at the district court's premises in central Malmö. As a permanent court administrator, there is an opportunity to work from home one day per week, if desired and the operation permits it.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have post-secondary education relevant to the work, such as paralegal training, social science education, or administrative education.
You have some current experience from administrative work characterized by many parallel processes to manage, regulations to comply with, deadlines to monitor, and internal and external contacts to professionally meet and collaborate with. Experience working with digital case management systems is a requirement. If your administrative experience is from work at a court or at an authority whose operations are adjacent to the district court's, that is particularly meritorious. A requirement is also good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
As a person, you are structured and have the ability to ensure that tasks are completed correctly even during peak workloads. You have a well-developed ability to independently prioritize and reprioritize work tasks based on deadlines and operational needs. Furthermore, you have a well-developed ability to collaborate and contribute with commitment, participation, and responsibility in both your own work tasks and for the district court as a whole.
