Are you a painter who enjoys watching a project grow from initial foundation work to a truly impressive finished result? We are now recruiting painters for Isolamin's production facility in Överkalix.
Here you will be part of a larger team that together builds complete hotel modules. You work systematically from room to room and get to apply your full professional expertise – from preparatory work and spackling to fully painted walls and ceilings.
About the Position:
At Isolamin, complete hotel and residential modules are built in an industrial setting at the factory in Överkalix. Production is characterized by efficiency, project-specific solutions, and high standards for consistent quality. As a painter, you will work through the entire painting process in the hotel rooms. Well-executed preparatory work is crucial for the final result, which is why we are looking for someone who is confident in their craft and knows what it takes to deliver good quality.
You will work with, among other things:
Preparatory work, spackling, and sanding
Taping and seam treatment
Primer application
Painting walls and ceilings
Caulking
Continuous quality control of your own work.
Work is performed indoors and together with carpenters, welders, sheet metal workers, and other skilled trades.
We are Looking for:
We are looking for someone who is a trained painter and who, after an introduction, can work independently. For us, it is not the number of years in the trade that matters. Equally important is that you have the right attitude, take responsibility for your work, and function well with others.
You need to be a person who:
Masters the fundamental aspects of painting.
Has good knowledge of preparatory work and understands how important it is for the final result.
Works carefully and with high quality.
Can plan and drive your own work forward.
Dares to ask when something is unclear and takes your own initiative.
Enjoys collaborating in a larger team. You need to be able to understand and communicate in Swedish.
A B-level driver's license is not required, but is an advantage since a car makes it easier to get to and from the workplace and around the area.
Practical Information
Location: Isolamin, Överkalix
Number of positions: 1
Start: Immediate start desired or as soon as possible by agreement
Work hours: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with possibility of overtime
Assignment: Initial project work with possibility of continued work based on upcoming projects and needs.
