About the Position
Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and helps make everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace.
The client's individual needs guide the workday, and the work can include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home.
Who Are You?
The role of personal assistant requires a strong ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client.
For this position, you must:
want to work for a woman in her 60s living in Olofström
have good knowledge of Swedish
have a B driver's license and access to your own car to get to and from work
be comfortable driving the client's automatic car
be smoke-free during working hours
tolerate fur-bearing animals and be comfortable being around dogs
be attentive and self-directed in your work role
For this position, it is desirable if you:
have experience with similar work
share the client's interest in an active lifestyle including walks, exercise, camping, mushroom foraging, and vegetable gardening
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary
The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day and evening. Working hours range from 8:00 in the morning with mixed breaks until evening at 9:00 PM.
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective agreement.
Start date: September 21 or by agreement.
