At the Authority, case officers work within the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and social psychiatry. Planning teams also work here with the task of coordinating hospital discharge planning. Additionally, family advocates, family consultants, social coordinators, suicide prevention coordinators, housing coordinators, administrators, and project managers for the Social Services Act have their base at the Authority. The work involves investigations, assessments of needs for eligibility of services, and decision-making according to the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). Handling of cases under the Social Services Act (SoL) also occurs. LSS case officers make decisions by delegation from the Care Committee. You will be part of a team with several colleagues. We value good collaboration and the opportunity to exchange experiences. You will have close contact with your supervisor, and we are currently planning a development journey where we will focus on the quality of care recipients' experiences with the Authority within the Care Administration, trust, and how we position the Authority's role in the continued development with the new Social Services Act and in preparation for Nearby Care. To help you succeed in your role as an LSS case officer with us, you will receive an introduction where our aim is to give you the support you need in your assignment. As additional support, you will always have access to your unit manager and other colleagues. As an LSS case officer, you also receive supervision from a lawyer. We are looking for you who have a social work degree or have completed a social care program. You have good knowledge of current legislation and experience from similar work. A driver's license is a requirement, as well as good knowledge of Swedish in reading, speaking, and writing, and good computer skills as we document in various systems. Documentation skills in LifeCare are considered an advantage. You are confident, stable, and work well in collaboration. Work with us takes place both independently and in teams.
