Our IT Department is making a major investment with a focus on a digital Swedish Prison and Probation Service. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in IT, knowledge and experience that can enrich our digitalization journey and who wants to make a difference in society within your profession. The Infrastructure and Operations Unit is responsible for developing and managing the IT infrastructure services offered to the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's operations. The unit consists of four sections: the Platform Services Section, the Infrastructure Services Section, the Workplace Services Section, and the Security Services Section. We are now looking for four Solutions Architects with a focus on infrastructure and platform services who want to take overall responsibility for designing, developing, and ensuring quality of robust, scalable, and secure IT environments. These positions report directly to the respective section manager with placement in Norrköping, Malmö, or Örebro. Job Description In your role as a Solutions Architect, you will have overall responsibility for defining, designing, and leading the work of building and further developing the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's infrastructure and platform solutions. You combine strategic thinking with a strong hands-on focus, where you actively work with the technology and participate in the practical implementation. You are a key person in ensuring scalable and sustainable technical solutions for application operations and infrastructure services. Through practical work with automation, efficient methods, and high demands on performance, security, and availability, you ensure high quality in delivery. At the same time, you drive strategic technical decisions and the practical implementation of new technologies. You collaborate with vendors and foster a culture characterized by innovation, learning, and continuous improvement. You have solid technical expertise in infrastructure and platform solutions, as well as experience in developing and leading work with new technology. You lead work with high integrity, are able to motivate and guide teams toward common goals, while also having a strong understanding of operational needs and how technology can create value. We are looking for someone with: Academic education preferably in systems science, computer science, or other engineering education, or alternatively other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant Experience as a Solutions Architect from large organizations Experience in driving major change processes and business development both within your own area and with your own area as a starting point, toward other areas Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Good knowledge and experience with ITIL as a framework and the ability to apply it in practice It is also meritorious to have: Documented architecture education Experience leading in a rapidly growing organization Experience in indirect leadership Knowledge and certifications in Infrastructure and ITIL Other Information The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has chosen to remove the cover letter and replaced it with selection questions relevant to the position.
