Flexfunktion ekonomibyrå is a small and flexible firm at Stora Torget in central Alingsås, a stone's throw from the train station. The firm is Srf-affiliated and efficiently helps small and growing businesses with various accounting and payroll services, as well as consulting. About the Payroll Consultant role In the role as payroll consultant with us, you work with payroll for several different small businesses in various industries. You have overall responsibility for your customers' payroll process and work both operatively and advisorily. Examples of work tasks: Work with payroll from start to finish for multiple small businesses Handle deviations such as absences, vacation, and benefits Maintain ongoing customer contact and provide advice on payroll matters Ensure correct payroll through controls and quality assurance Develop our internal processes and working methods Collaborate with colleagues in payroll and accounting for comprehensive solutions You will have close contact with both customers and colleagues and be an important piece of the puzzle in creating secure and quality-assured payroll processes for our customers. Who are you? You have found your home in the payroll profession and enjoy the combination of people, numbers, and rules. We believe that you: Have several years of experience working with payroll, preferably from an accounting firm, payroll firm, or similar payroll function Are confident in the payroll process from beginning to end Have experience working with and interpreting collective agreements Are accustomed to digital tools and various payroll systems Thrive with both independent responsibility and collaborating with others. It is a merit if you: Are an Authorized Payroll Consultant via Srf consultants or are working towards it. Alternatively, have extensive experience in the payroll profession. Have experience working at a smaller firm with many small business customers Have worked advisorily toward customers and enjoy explaining rules in an understandable way About the position The position currently comprises approximately 40%, but for those who wish a larger role, there is an opportunity to combine this role with: practical HR administration onboarding and employee support simple accounting tasks work with customer knowledge, risk assessment, and internal quality procedures The position's scope can thus be expanded to approximately 50% Start date by agreement, preferably as soon as possible due to a retirement.
