LKAB Malmtrafik LKAB Malmtrafik is responsible for loading, unloading and transporting LKAB's iron ore products on the Malmban railway line. We transport from the mines in Kiruna and Malmberget to the ports in Luleå and Narvik, as well as to SSAB in Luleå. Your Role As a locomotive operator with us, you'll become part of our whole and contribute to keeping our high-tech mining and minerals corporation running. You will mainly operate our IORE locomotives and ore trains (Europe's heaviest) along Malmban on our southern route between Malmberget and Luleå port. Your working day will also include tasks such as shunting, departure inspections, train preparation and brake testing of our wagons. The position is stationed in Gällivare and does not offer the possibility to commute weekly. However, we help with relocation costs and accommodation. What You Bring You work independently and are comfortable with solitary work, but also collaborate with others to solve problems that may arise in your work as a locomotive operator. You are responsible and always put safety first, and are used to working with a solution-focused approach and driven to learn more. In addition, you have: Valid locomotive operator's license Completed upper secondary school education Class B driver's license Locomotive type certificate for IORE (meritorious) Trained locomotive instructor or driving instructor (meritorious) We warmly welcome your application!
