About Us
The Campus Division at Örebro University has the primary mission of providing students, staff, and the university's various operations with support and services in all areas relating to our facilities. The university's operations are constantly growing, and the comfort of our facilities is important, so we place great emphasis on maintaining a pleasant and clean environment.
The Facilities Management Unit is part of the Campus Division and manages most of the university's facilities cleaning in-house with approximately 30 employees. The unit works to be a modern facilities management organization with a focus on environment and quality.
Job Duties
The work includes all typical tasks for daily cleaning of the university's facilities, including common areas, offices, and study halls. Within the unit, we work in teams with shared responsibility for cleaning, which creates better quality and more ergonomic variation.
The job duties also include deep cleaning and floor care. Window cleaning may occur, as well as holiday cleaning as needed.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with previous work experience in the facilities cleaning profession and knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and machinery. Previous work experience from an environment similar to a university is a merit. Experience with floor care and window cleaning is also desirable.
