JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Family Health has broad operations with several assignments directed at children and young people. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to join our team working with young children with essence difficulties. Essence refers to preschool-age children with challenges in several different developmental areas, where language, communication, and interaction are often a part. The team has existed for some time but is now undergoing change processes that you will get to influence, shape, and develop together with us. The goal is to contribute to the child's best interest by promoting children's development based on their specific circumstances. Our work is characterized by close collaboration and cooperation with parents, preschool staff, and other important people in the child's network. The team includes, in addition to a speech-language pathologist, an occupational therapist, a coordinator/psychotherapist, and a psychologist. Within Family Health, there is, among other things, a group of speech-language pathologists working with children's language development 0-18 years, which means there is great opportunity for professional support and exchange. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed speech-language pathologist. Experience working with young children and their development is meriting. To thrive in the role, we see that you have very good collaboration skills and an ease in creating trusting relationships, both with colleagues and with external partners. You work in a structured and independent manner, with a good ability to plan, prioritize, and organize your work. At the same time, you are flexible and can adapt to changed conditions and needs that arise in the operation. You have good pedagogical skills and competence and the willingness to mentor and guide other professionals. We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for you to contribute to a positive work climate and good cooperation with children, families, and colleagues. Since the position involves travel within the region, a Class B driver's license is required.
