As a Line Technician, you work on projects where you build large overhead power lines. Climbing at truly great heights is part of your daily routine. You travel by vehicle between jobs, and at the work site you transport yourself, colleagues, materials, and equipment using tracked vehicles or all-terrain vehicles. In this role, you will work with new construction and reconstruction on regional and transmission networks at 130-400kV, which in practice means: - Performing work from the ground or at great heights either by climbing or from a basket - Recurring work tasks include pole raising, various types of assembly work on poles, stringing of overhead lines, and replacement of poles with accessories - Contribute to safe work in the field for you and your colleagues Travel is a natural part of the work. You typically work at another location with longer workdays Monday-Thursday to be off on Friday. We apply home-basing, which means you have a service vehicle at home and work from your residence. On-call duty may also be included. Job Requirements As a Line Technician with us, you are our most important asset for the work performed in the field.
