We are now looking for a line manager for our Control & Protection team in Ludvika. As a new line manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a highly skilled team working with advanced HVDC solutions around the world.

This is a role for someone with experience leading people and who thrives working at the intersection of people, technology, and operations.
As a line manager, you have a central role in the team's daily work. You are a communicative leader who builds trust, elevates your employees, and gets people to succeed together.
You work closely with the department manager and are responsible for creating the conditions for the team's success through clear leadership, prioritization, and coordination.
The role suits you if you have a technical background and are motivated by developing both people and operations. Here you will combine leadership, collaboration, and technical understanding.
How You Will Make a Difference
Manage the team's daily work, resource allocation, and priorities
Be a natural point of contact and support for your team
Develop employees' competence through coaching, mentoring, and onboarding
Collaborate with project management, technical, and site organizations
Contribute to improvements in working methods, structure, and collaboration
Support the department manager in planning, resource management, and follow-up
Ensure quality and delivery in ongoing projects
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Is a confident and clear communicator who creates safety, engagement, and trust
Has documented experience leading technical operations
Has a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and deliver results
Has the ability to create structure and priorities for technical teams
Has solid experience working with electrical power, control & protection, or related areas
Communicates fluently in English and Swedish
Meritorious
Experience from HVDC, FACTS, STATCOM, BESS, or similar
Academic education in electrical power, automation, or similar
