Are you a positive, responsible, and attentive person who wants to make a real difference in someone else's everyday life? Then this job might be for you!
About the Position
We are now seeking additional personal assistants for a man in his 60s who lives centrally in Visby, within the old town walls. The man uses a wheelchair but is independent. Minor transfers occur and assistive equipment is available on site. The man smokes (but not indoors), so you should not be sensitive to smoke.
We are looking for someone with a good sense of humor, a kind heart, and a positive attitude toward life. You enjoy working with people and see the value in creating safe, respectful, and long-term relationships. You are a good judge of character and show curiosity and commitment while being able to adapt to the customer's needs.
As a personal assistant, you work closely with the customer and provide support based on his individual needs and wishes. The work is primarily carried out in the customer's home but may also involve accompanying him during activities, errands, and other everyday situations.
Your work tasks may include:
Personal care
Support with daily routines
Transfers
Accompaniment during activities and errands
Practical support in the home
Work Hours
Work shifts are arranged as two shorter shifts per day, approximately 2–3 hours each:
Morning/late morning
Evening
We therefore prefer that you live in or near Visby. This position may be particularly suitable for you if you are a student, have another part-time job, or want flexible work.
You will be employed on an hourly basis and can therefore manage your work hours based on what works best for you.
There is also the possibility of combining this assignment with work for other customers, both in Visby and in other locations on Gotland.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Has experience as a personal assistant or other experience from care and health services
Is responsible, attentive, and confident in your professional role
Has a professional and respectful approach
Is positive, engaged, and has good communication skills
Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Has the ability to work flexibly
Is not sensitive to or bothered by smoke
We Place Great Importance on Personal Suitability
For us, the most important thing is that you are a person who can provide security, show respect for the customer's integrity, and uphold his right to self-determination. The personal chemistry between you and the customer is crucial for both of you to feel comfortable and develop in the collaboration.
We look forward to receiving your application!
