As a nurse in Nybro Municipality's primary care, you become a reliable point of contact in people's everyday lives when their health fails. With us, health and medical care is provided close to residents—in their own homes and in special housing, around the clock—with the municipality as principal and close collaboration with the region's health centers and hospitals. Here you get to work broadly and at a qualified level, from basic care to advanced home health nursing, in an interdisciplinary team together with care personnel, rehabilitation staff, and benefit administrators. Municipal primary care in Nybro is organized in geographically divided work teams. With us, you work close to your nursing colleagues within your own team, while also collaborating across area boundaries to ensure safe and cohesive care for our patients. In the evenings and on weekends, you work with colleagues from different areas where you operate from the same workplace and distribute work together. Weekend service amounts to two weekends per eight weeks. There is an opportunity to work part-time nights for those who wish a different type of assignment. WORK TASKS Work tasks include customary nursing duties in both regular and special housing. It is the patient's needs that guide the assignment, which means that work tasks can be highly varied, ranging from basic health interventions to advanced home health nursing. With us, you get varied and qualified work where you, among other things, work with advanced wound care, injections, transfusions, central line management, acute and planned assessments, and palliative care with a focus on security and dignity for the patient. As a patient-responsible nurse, an important part of your work is to safeguard patient group integrity and right to self-determination. You work interdisciplinarily together with care personnel, rehabilitation staff, benefit administrators, and unit managers, as well as with the region, to ensure good and safe care. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Takes initiative and acts based on patient needs • Wants to contribute to developing working methods and operations and sees solutions instead of obstacles • Works well with others and contributes to good cooperation through a responsive, respectful, and professional approach to patients, relatives, and colleagues • Has empathetic ability and creates security for patients, relatives, and care personnel, even in situations characterized by high complexity and high pace • Communicates clearly and adapts information to recipient and situation to contribute to safe care and well-functioning teamwork • Works in a structured manner by independently planning, prioritizing, and following up on work even when patients' conditions change rapidly Requirements: • Licensed Nurse Meritorious: • Experience in the profession • Specialist training in elderly care, dementia, district nursing, or specialist training deemed relevant for the operations • Experience with the following systems: Cosmic, Lifecare, APPVA Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Driver's license category B is a requirement. To be eligible for employment with the Care Administration or Individual and Family Administration in Nybro Municipality, an extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
