The Health and Care Unit is now seeking licensed nurses who want to work with us. The unit consists of multiprofessional teams where nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing assistants work together. Together we currently have 75 employees. Leadership is shared by two unit managers. The assignment includes care in the form of home healthcare, dementia care, rehabilitation and assistive devices to care and services for people in care and residential facilities. Also included are residential units with special services, day activities, service housing, personal assistance, or people who receive support through social psychiatry. We are looking for staff positioned at a residential care facility. You work day shift, one weekend every eight weeks. With us, we have good team cohesion with excellent collaboration where we work together—nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation staff. No questions are strange or wrong. We work without ego and pull in the same direction. You will have freedom with responsibility and the opportunity to influence your work and internal work methods. The position is placed within the Care and Social Services Administration, which is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments with a clear mission—we exist for people. WORK TASKS As a nurse, you are responsible for offering safe and secure care based on the municipality's health and care mission. Health and care services shall be provided in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governing documents for healthcare. Care shall be person-centered and conducted in collaboration with other professions and stakeholders. Nursing care is your specific competence, and you independently take clinical decisions that offer the patient the opportunity to improve, maintain, or regain their health, and achieve the best possible well-being and quality of life. As a nurse, you assess the patient's health status, plan care based on established goals, carry out both nursing interventions and measures prescribed by other professions, document according to the nursing process, and review medical records and other information from other parties. Home healthcare offers great variety in work tasks. We care for multimorbid patients where no two visits are alike. Since we work in the home, there is a natural recovery from work between visits. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • University education as a nurse and professional license • skills in nursing care combined with knowledge in other subjects such as medical science and public health • Class B driver's license It is meritorious if you have: • previous professional experience You must be able to relate to organizational structures and professional care cultural aspects; you are confident and secure in your own area of expertise.
