We are looking for you
If you would like to explore the specialty of infectious medicine. We are seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic patient record system is a plus, and we would appreciate if you have a valid driver's license.
As a person, you are positive, responsible, and confident in your professional role. You work well with others and contribute to a good collaborative climate. You can plan and prioritize your work and adapt when circumstances change.

What we offer you
With us, you will have stimulating and varied work at a clinic characterized by a down-to-earth approach and close, warm collaboration among the clinic's various professions. You will receive customized introductory training based on your experience.
You will primarily work with inpatients at the infectious disease ward. The position also includes outpatient clinic work and on-call duty.
During on-call hours, you are responsible, with good support from the backup physician, for the ward's patients and provide medical guidance to other departments.

The Department of Infectious Diseases is based in Jönköping and serves as the county's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consultation and advisory services provided in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot program is also running for hospital-at-home care, where patients can receive parts of their antibiotic treatment at home. The clinic is characterized by motivated employees who work in teams and jointly foster a good collaborative climate.
