We are looking for you
Interested in trying the specialty of infectious medicine. We are seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic electronic health record system is a plus, and we welcome a valid driver's license.
As a person, you are positive, responsible, and confident in your professional role. You work well with others and contribute to a good collaborative climate. You can plan and prioritize your work and adapt when circumstances change.

You will primarily work with inpatients on the Department of Infectious Diseases ward. The position also includes outpatient clinic work and on-call duties.
During on-call hours, you will be responsible, with good support from the backup physician, for the ward's patients and provide medical consultation to other departments.

The Department of Infectious Diseases is based in Jönköping and serves as the county's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consulting and advisory services provided in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot program is also underway providing hospital care at home, where patients have the option to receive portions of their antibiotic treatment at home. The clinic is characterized by motivated employees who work in teams and jointly promote a good collaborative climate.
