About You
Are you interested in trying out the specialty of infectious disease medicine? We are seeking a licensed physician for a locum position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic patient record system is a merit, and we would appreciate if you have a driver's license.
As a person, you are positive, responsible, and confident in your professional role. You work well with others and contribute to a good collaborative climate. You can plan and prioritize your work and adapt when circumstances change.

What We Offer

You will primarily work with inpatients on the infectious diseases clinic's ward. The position also includes outpatient clinic work and on-call duty.
During on-call hours, you are responsible, with good support from the back-up physician, for the ward's patients and provide medical consultation to other departments.

The Infectious Diseases Clinic is based in Jönköping and serves as the county's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consultation and advisory services provided in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot program is also underway for hospital care at home, where patients are offered the opportunity to receive portions of their antibiotic treatment at home.
