We are looking for you
If you want to try the specialty of infectious disease medicine. We are seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic electronic health record system is advantageous, and we would appreciate if you have a valid driver's license.

What we offer you

You will primarily work with inpatients on the Department of Infectious Diseases ward. The position also includes outpatient clinic work and on-call duties.
During on-call hours, you will be responsible, with good support from the backup physician, for the ward's patients and provide medical consultation to other departments.

The Department of Infectious Diseases is based in Jönköping and is the county's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consultation and advisory services provided in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot program for hospital care at home is underway, where patients are offered to receive portions of their antibiotic treatment at home. The clinic is characterized by motivated employees who work in teams and jointly strive for a good collaborative climate.
