Want to try the specialty of infectious medicine. We are seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic patient record system is a merit, and we appreciate if you have a driver's license.
As a person, you are positive, responsible, and confident in your professional role. You work well with others and contribute to a good collaborative climate. You can plan and prioritize your work and adapt when circumstances change.

What we offer you
With us, you will get stimulating and varied work at a clinic characterized by a down-to-earth approach and close, warm collaboration between the clinic's various professions. You will receive a tailored introduction based on your experience.
You will primarily work with inpatients on the Department of Infectious Diseases' ward. The position also includes outpatient work and on-call duty.
During on-call hours, you are responsible, with good support from the backup on-call physician, for the ward's patients and provide medical advice to other operations.

The Department of Infectious Diseases is based in Jönköping and is the county's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consulting and advisory services conducted in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot operation is also underway providing hospital care in the home, where patients are offered the opportunity to receive parts of their antibiotic treatment at home. The clinic is characterized by motivated employees who work in teams and collectively strive for a good collaborative climate.
