This position is being advertised as our current physical therapist resource staff member is changing positions within the municipality. Within Health and Care, we have our own resources in the municipality that cover where physical therapy is needed in both the short and long term, which means you'll work within both LSS (disability services) and elderly care such as ordinary housing, special housing, and short-term care services. We believe this is an effective work approach for both occupational therapists and physical therapists. Start date for employment is flexible based on your and our planning. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who is a licensed physical therapist and has good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speaking and writing. The role includes documentation, so you need to be able to write clearly and in a well-structured manner, and have the ability to adapt your writing for the intended audience. Digital management occurs daily in areas such as documentation and communication, so you need to have good computer skills. As a person, you are empathetic, listen, and show respect. You are unpretentious and notice and acknowledge others' contributions. You have the ability to perform in a pressured environment and handle difficult situations. It's good if you remain optimistic when facing challenges and have the ability to accept and learn from criticism. You have the ability to adapt to changed circumstances and find it easy to adjust your behavior based on other people's needs. Since the work is independent, you need the ability to plan and organize your work. You travel in service daily, so you must hold a category B driver's license. As a final candidate, you must be able to provide a police clearance certificate. This should not be attached to your application. We will also request information regarding your license from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). Tierp Municipality is part of the Finnish administrative area.
