As a Lead Developer, you code yourself, set technical patterns, and coach the team in digital services for hundreds of thousands of households. About the Client The client is one of Sweden's largest organizations in housing and real estate. The IT department has around a hundred employees and is driving a long-term initiative to modernize digital services, from self-service for residents to digital support for property management and board work. The services are microservices in C# and .NET running on Azure and Kubernetes, with pipelines in Azure DevOps and frontend primarily in Angular. A common API layer connects legacy business systems with new solutions, and the last monolithic components are being gradually moved to the cloud. Legacy and modern technology coexist. The organization has the stability of a large, long-term player and works in agile teams with short decision-making paths. About the Role You are part of a development team and spend most of your time there. You build new features, modernize existing systems, and tackle the most technically challenging questions together with the team. The rest of your time is spent working with the organization's other senior developers. Together, you shape common guidelines, patterns, and working methods that the entire development organization builds on. Leadership is purely technical. You lead by example in code, reason through design decisions, and make your colleagues better. The organization wants to take the next step with AI and automation in development work. You'll have a strong mandate to lead the way, with a pragmatic view of what creates value over time. What You'll Do • Build new services and modernize existing systems in C# and .NET • Solve complex technical problems together with the team and choose solutions that stand the test of time • Coach developers through code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions • Develop technical guidelines and patterns together with other senior developers • Develop the API layer that connects legacy business systems with new digital services • Introduce AI support and automation where it makes teams more efficient • Collaborate closely with the business to understand the needs behind what you build Who We're Looking For Requirements • At least ten years of experience in systems development, mostly in C# and .NET • Experience with technical leadership as a tech lead, lead developer, or equivalent • Practical experience building and operating services in Azure • Experience with microservices and API design • Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written Meritorious • Kubernetes in production, preferably AKS • AI-assisted development in practice, such as GitHub Copilot, agent-based tools, or LLM integrations • Modernization of legacy systems and migration to the cloud • CI/CD in Azure DevOps • Angular or other modern frontend • Technical university degree What We Offer • Permanent employment directly with the client • Technical leadership where writing code is a natural part of your daily work • Opportunity to influence technical decisions and how AI and automation are used in development • Experienced colleagues to shape standards and working methods together with • Shorter work weeks during the summer months • Occupational pension, insurance, and wellness allowance • Modern offices in central Stockholm and a hybrid arrangement Practical Information Location: Stockholm, hybrid Employment Type: Permanent employment with the client Scope: Full-time Start: By agreement Salary: Market rate, adjusted for experience Languages: Swedish and English (required) Recruitment Process • Initial conversation with Lynqa • Presentation to the client • Interviews with hiring manager and team • Reference checks • Offer About the Position Scope: Full-time, permanent employment Start: By agreement Location: Stockholm This is a direct recruitment.
