Lead Architect at NetClean
NetClean is a Swedish cybersecurity company that develops advanced security technology and helps companies and organizations identify and manage human insider risks.
As Lead Architect, you'll have a central role in shaping NetClean's technical direction. You own the architecture of our systems, set the standards and patterns that the team builds on, and ensure that architectural decisions balance product goals, security, and long-term sustainability. You work closely with our Head of Engineering on technical strategy and roadmap.
You set the framework, not every decision within it. Developers are trusted to make their own decisions within that framework, and you're always available to the team as an advisor in day-to-day work.

NetClean is looking for you who have:
15 to 20 years of experience in software development, with a substantial portion as an architect or in another senior technical leadership role. You've had time to see your own architectural decisions age, both the ones that held up and the ones that didn't.
Solid experience with cloud-based multi-tenant environments, microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
Your own, practical experience working with AI in development. We've already undergone an AI transformation and are looking for someone who can pick up where we are today and move forward.
Security architecture as a natural part of how you think, and practical experience with what ISO 27001 means in everyday work is a plus.
A pragmatic and business-minded approach. You choose the solution that actually moves the product forward, weigh cost and maintenance against what it delivers, and can explain why.
Ability to explain technical reasoning clearly, for developers as well as for those who aren't developers.
We build on Azure today, so if you have deep experience there, that's of course an advantage. If instead you have many years in another cloud environment, the parallels are greater than the differences, and we see no obstacle in that.
Additional merits: .NET, Next.js, Azure PaaS, IaC, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
