Are you an experienced and self-driven laser operator seeking new challenges? We are now looking for a Senior Laser Operator for a well-established client company in Mjölby! How will your workdays look? As a Senior Laser Operator, you will work with laser machines in the manufacturing industry. The role involves significant personal responsibility where you work with the entire process – from setup and programming to optimization and quality assurance. With your experience, you contribute to ensuring efficient production with high quality and delivery precision. Main responsibilities: Operate and monitor laser machines. Set up, program, and optimize production. Perform quality checks according to applicable procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues. Ensure production meets established goals for quality and delivery precision. Participate in improvement work and contribute to development of processes and working methods. Introduce and support less experienced operators as needed. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is self-driven, responsible, and solution-oriented. You are thorough and quality-conscious in your work while having good collaboration skills and enjoying working together with others. Requirements for the position Several years of experience as a laser operator in the manufacturing industry. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Forklift license. Gantry crane license. Ability to work 2-shift schedule. Meritorious for the position Experience programming laser machines. Experience with LEAN or continuous improvement work. Knowledge of sheet metal processing and subsequent processes. Working hours: 2-shift Scope: Full-time Start: As soon as possible You will initially be offered a fixed-term employment for 6 months.
