10 position(s). Would you like to contribute to students' learning, development, and sense of security? We are looking for teacher substitutes for grades F–9. Working as a substitute teacher with us means you have the opportunity to control when you can work. You replace regular teachers during shorter absences and work at different schools based on their needs. Workplaces and working hours may therefore vary. As a substitute teacher, you are responsible for instruction based on the planning in place on-site. You need to be comfortable standing in front of a class, holding lessons, and leading students' work during the school day. The assignment includes creating structure, engaging students, and contributing to a safe environment where students have the opportunity to develop. You will be part of the school's operations and collaborate with teachers and other staff members. Although you lead instruction independently, there are colleagues around you who can provide support and help you get started at the school. As a substitute teacher, you need to: be comfortable standing in front of a class and holding lessons be able to lead a student group and create structure in the classroom be responsible and organized inspire trust and be a secure adult be able to create engagement and participation among students be flexible and able to adapt to different classes, schools, and situations We are looking for someone who is confident and has a clear and respectful demeanor. You work well with others and can at the same time take responsibility for instruction and make the decisions needed in the classroom. You communicate clearly, build trust, and meet students with attentiveness and engagement. We conduct screening and hold interviews on an ongoing basis. The need for new substitute teachers varies, which means the recruitment process may take different amounts of time. Qualifications You have completed upper secondary education with passing grades. You have good ability to communicate in Swedish both orally and in writing. Studies toward a teaching degree or other pedagogical education as well as previous experience working with children and young people are advantageous. B-category driving license and access to a car are advantageous. You are experienced in working with digital tools. An extract from the criminal record is required. The extract should be for work within the school system and is ordered via the Police website.
