We are looking for an engaged and curious class teacher for grade 1. This is a class teacher position where you will take over a grade 1 class during the spring term 2027.
Åre School is an F-3 school with approximately 130 students. The school is located in the middle of the expansive tourist region Åre/Duved in western Jämtland and it is therefore natural that the school has a profile with plenty of movement, outdoor activities, and the pedagogical foundation rests on Growth Mindset. Forest areas, hiking trails, ski slopes, and ski tracks are located close to the school.
Åre School is a small school with a staff of approximately 20 people including the after-school center. We are a well-functioning and pleasant team where you are expected to become an important part. We place great emphasis on your view of students and that as a teacher you support our pedagogical keys at the school, which are Growth Mindset and movement. School and after-school work very closely together and you are expected to see this as a natural part of the student's entire day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will take over as the regular class teacher for grade 1 during spring and work together with the other grade 1 class teacher in a tight team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified teacher
You should be a qualified teacher, preferably in the right grade level.

Duration: Start date: 2027-01-11, End date: 2027-06-17.
