KompetensUtvecklingsInstitutet Vocational College is now seeking a teacher/educator for the Special Education Support program. Together with the rest of the team, you will drive and develop the programs forward. This work includes, among other things, planning and designing courses, teaching, and mentoring of students.

Good pedagogical ability combined with an interest in people and the industry is a must. We are now looking for an engaged and structured team player with the ability to communicate clearly.
Work experience/background
Pedagogical education – or something else that the employer considers equivalent
Professional experience from the LSS area
Experience working with children with mental health issues
Experience with distance education
Relevant post-secondary education, e.g., special education support specialist, social worker.
You have very good IT skills and can quickly learn different systems
You have very good knowledge of digital tools and the most common Office programs
Experience in course development
Personal qualities
It is meritorious if you appreciate varied and stimulating work and have a strong creative side. You have a sense of order and organization and you can collaborate with others while also working independently and making priorities. You have good interpersonal skills and good service awareness. You are quick and efficient, solution-focused, and results-oriented.

This position is a permanent employment with mandatory 6-month probation period. Travel is included in the position approximately 1-2 times/month – overnight stays may occur. Travel is related to teaching taking place in other locations and meetings within the organization.
