About the Workplace
Unnerödsskolan grades 4-6 is located in northern Uddevalla. The school is a grades 4-6 primary school that in fall term 2026 has 220 students distributed across 9 classes and a recreation department. School leadership consists of a principal and an assistant principal. The number of pedagogical staff at the school is 20. Here we have a good collaborative culture and help each other.
Besides the pedagogical staff, there is a student wellbeing team consisting of a counselor, special education teacher, special needs teacher, school nurse, school psychologist, and principal.
At Unnerödsskolan, we strive for every student to feel the desire to learn and develop knowledge and skills in all subjects to be prepared for further studies. We also work for students to develop their social competence, creativity, and sense of responsibility, show consideration for others, and feel valued.
Job Duties
We are looking for a grades 4-6 teacher for grade 6 in the subjects Swedish, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Music.
Main responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction.
Formative and summative assessment, including grading.
Mentorship for students and conducting development conversations.
Collaborative learning with teachers, other pedagogical staff, and the student wellbeing team.
Support students with special needs in small groups a few sessions per week.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is organized, communicative, has an easy time building relationships with both students and guardians, and has experience working pedagogically with children in middle primary school age.
Qualifications
Teacher certification with authorization for grades 4-6
Meritorious to have experience working as a teacher in grades 4-6
