Magelungen Utveckling is an employee-owned limited company that offers qualified treatment and change work for children, youth, young adults, and their families. About Us
We offer school and treatment, where school is integrated with skills training and treatment. Our operations are characterized by unpretentious collaboration between different professions. In addition to educators, we have behavioral scientists, social workers, and family therapists, who together with school staff support students in their development. The school serves youth in grades 6–9 with extensive needs for special support. The students we meet often have social, psychosocial, or neuropsychiatric challenges, and many times they have a long period of school absence behind them. To help these young people achieve functional schooling, we work with small-scale operations, high staff-to-student ratios, enhanced student social support, and individually designed approaches based on each student's conditions and needs. We have a systemic and salutogenic perspective where the focus is to work with the whole person and build on what works. Our goal is to offer an environment where all students can have a chance to succeed based on their conditions.
About the Position
As an hourly substitute with us, you will have the opportunity to contribute when the need arises by supporting as a teacher for short-term assignments. These are often assignments with short notice, which makes it a perfect opportunity for you if you are studying or have other employment.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are studying to become a teacher and who are flexible and have the ability to teach multiple subjects. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Your ability to collaborate, build good relationships, and contribute to a positive work environment is important.
Since our students have extensive needs for special support, we would like you to have experience working with students in need of special support. Experience from similar operations is meritorious.
