About the Workplace

Holstagårdsskolan is a family-oriented school in Laröd for students in grades F-9. For us, student-centered leadership, collegial collaboration, and an ambition to create a good school for all students are important. For the next term, we are seeking a teacher for grades 4-6. Initially, the position is in grade 3, and you will then follow the class into middle school.
Job Responsibilities
The work includes teaching Swedish and Social Studies subjects. You will become part of our teaching team working together with student development and learning. You are offered varied work where you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction. You collaborate with other educators, guardians, student health services, and school leadership to create a context that supports students' knowledge development and well-being. Mentor responsibility in grade 3 together with a colleague is also part of the work.

Qualifications
You must be a certified teacher and qualified in Swedish and Social Studies for middle school.
Pedagogical skill and genuine commitment to student learning, development, and well-being.
Good leadership ability and skilled at building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
Good ability to create structures, inspire, and adapt instruction to the needs of the student group.
Experience working both independently and in teams – you contribute ideas and take responsibility for the whole.
Confident using digital tools and teaching platforms as a natural part of instruction.
Curiosity – you have an interest in developing and improving teaching methods and you base your work on current research and proven experience.
