The position is placed within the Children's and Education Department. We operate statutory activities in the form of preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and student health services. Within the department's area of responsibility, there is also a cultural school, youth activities, open preschool, and the municipality's food service. The department operates on behalf of the Children's and Education Board. At Frejaskolan, we are rarely satisfied. We know that we do good work every day, but we always want to reach further. School management's primary role is to lead pedagogical development work and systematically develop teaching together with our educators. Over seven years, we have developed teaching by increasing clarity through learning goals, communication, and student activity in learning with the help of support structures/board structures and cooperative learning. We have focused on relational leadership and will continue next year to develop teaching in areas we have started. Each student from grades 1-9 has their own digital learning tool in the form of an iPad or Chromebook. As organizational support in learning, we use Google and Vklass. WORK TASKS We are looking for a skilled teacher for our fantastic and highly appreciated afterschool program at Frejaskolan. You are responsible for a section and collaborate with your team. Collaboration also occurs with other section managers. You plan, implement, and evaluate activities and are skilled at organizing and seeing opportunities to improve operations. QUALIFICATIONS You need to be organized and structured but above all be empathetic and creative. You plan activities long-term but also see today's opportunities and challenges. The student voice is important and you easily change course but not goals. You are experienced in collaborating with others and contribute to more children developing and thriving at the afterschool program.
