Your New Position At Råslättsskolan, we have five age-integrated after-school program sections: grades F-2 Safiren, Rubinen, and Smaragden, and grades 3–6 Diamanten and Kristallen. We have approximately 190 students enrolled in the after-school program. As an after-school program teacher, you will meet our students throughout the entire school day where the after-school program's complementary instruction is an important part of your role. As an after-school program teacher, your planning time is scheduled during school hours. Råslättsskolan has a high proportion of qualified teachers in the after-school program. Your work as an after-school program teacher includes, among other things, responsibility for the pedagogical work in the after-school program together with your colleagues. You plan, carry out, and follow up on activities that strengthen alignment with the curriculum goals and other governing documents in the primary school's mission. Your assignment also includes ensuring that the after-school program is a valuable complement to students' education, creating a good learning environment that develops students' abilities, social development, and self-confidence, as well as building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Welcome to Us Råslättsskolan is one of the municipality's larger F–6 schools located in the Råslätt district in the southern parts of Jönköping. In the surrounding area, there are great opportunities for activities such as forests and nature, swimming pool, sports field, ice rink, activity arena, and football field with artificial turf. The school is a multicultural school with currently approximately 500 students and around 85 employees. Together, we work to create a workplace where everyone thrives and develops. You are also well-grounded in the primary school's mission and its governing documents. You have a good ability to build relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and consider the overall needs and development requirements of the operation. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, have basic IT skills, and have good experience documenting and analyzing your work. We see that experience working with multilingual students is a merit. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
