About the role
TeknikAkademin Norden AB is seeking an automation engineer or automation technician with experience in industrial automation and process technology.
The role encompasses automation, control and regulation technology, and process technology, with a focus on industrial automation systems, process monitoring, and practical technical problem-solving.
Your responsibilities
Work with automation, control and regulation technology, and process technology
PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA/DCS
Industrial networks and communication between control systems
Process instrumentation, measurement, and signal handling
Troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance of automation equipment
Interpretation of technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
Connect theory to practical industrial processes and automation solutions
We are looking for you who
Are an automation engineer, automation technician, or have equivalent professional background
Have practical experience with industrial automation and process technology
Have a good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA/DCS, and control and regulation technology
Have experience in troubleshooting, commissioning, and technical problem-solving
Can read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
Are pedagogical, structured, and clear in your communication
Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious: Experience in teaching or supervision.
