At Östra School, we have 385 students in grades 7-9. Östra School aims to be an open and safe school where every student can be themselves and reach their goals. Job Responsibilities
You will teach wood and metal crafts and textile crafts in grades 7-9, where you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction. You will be an important part of the team and contribute to the school's positive development. As a teacher at Östra School, you will be part of a work team with teachers, support staff, and a student support team. Together, you will work to ensure that students' education is characterized by safety, responsibility, joy, and collaboration. You will also be part of the subject team where you work on subject development and collaborative learning. If you have experience and interest in leading systematic quality work and instructional development, there is an opportunity for that role.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is qualified in Wood and Metal Crafts or Textile Crafts and has teaching experience in these subjects.
About the Department
We teach children to read, count, and discover the world around them. Here we follow our youngest community members from preschool through their graduation from high school. Through our adult education programs, people can learn Swedish as a second language, take individual courses, or pursue longer educational programs. With joy, engagement, participation, and on a scientific basis, we want to increase knowledge, creativity, development, and the desire to learn.
