At Hölöskolan, we are seeking immediately a textile crafts teacher with certification in the craft subject. You will work closely with our certified woodworking and metalworking teachers. Together with your craft colleague, you will share responsibility for mentoring one of our year 8 classes (approximately 22 students). You will be part of a teaching team where you, together with other teachers, take responsibility for and develop classroom instruction with the goal of maximizing learning for our students. You are responsible for instruction, evaluation and development of instruction, and documentation. At Hölöskolan, academic engagement and safety are prioritized development areas, and we greatly value Hölöskolan's lesson structure. Other prioritized areas are attendance monitoring and language development and cross-curricular approaches. A structured collegial effort to enhance instruction is being driven successfully by our lead teachers. This position is 80%, but if you are certified in another subject that we have a need for, there is an opportunity for 100%.

We also see that you have good knowledge of NPF and can apply this in practice through clear structure, adaptations, and a relational approach that creates safety and academic engagement.

Requirements:
- You are a certified teacher to instruct in textile crafts.
- You have experience teaching, especially in groups with varied needs.
- As a clear leader, you create structure, safety, and academic engagement in the classroom.
- You have good communication skills with students, guardians, and colleagues.

- You are certified in subjects other than crafts, textile crafts, or are a certified primary teacher for after-school care.
