Örnsköldsviks gymnasium has two school buildings, Parkskolan and Nolaskolan. We have a total of just over 1800 students divided among five college-preparatory programs and ten vocational programs as well as introductory programs and adapted upper secondary school. Örnsköldsviks gymnasium is designated a practice school, which means that teacher trainees are a regular part of the school. This position is a temporary assignment until 270618 Duties You will teach Swedish level 1, 2, 3 in the Health and Care program. Your work includes teaching, planning, documentation, and communication with students and guardians. The assignment also involves participating in collaborative work with subject and work teams. Mentoring a number of students is often part of the duties. This includes significant responsibility for following up on and supporting your mentees and actively participating in student wellness work. Qualifications We are looking for a teacher with an upper secondary level teaching degree and subject competency in Swedish / Sva We are looking for someone who enjoys being challenged and thinking innovatively, who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a trustworthy adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a good atmosphere in the student group and work team is self-evident to you. We would appreciate if you have experience leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and the capacity to adapt instruction based on the group's and individuals' needs.
